Worst experience of my life

So Ive had an earache for about a week, and I assume I have an ear infection because Ive had so many before. I put off going to the doctor because I know they are just going to prescribe me Amoxicillin, which doesnt do shit on me anymore, but hey, they dont care. Well this morning it was a lot worse so I figured I'd better go in. I told the doctor that it was strange this time because my ear isnt draining at all. So he looked in and said "I cant see" I had a giant wax build-up in my inner ear. He said that pain can be caused by that alone, so I thought maybe that was the problem. He left and sent a nurse in, she had a weird syringe type thing and a small pail, she filled the pail up with water and Im thinking "Oh, crap". Then she said she was gonna clean out my ear, made me hold something up under my ear to catch water, and then she shot water into my ear...Shot Water INTO my Ear! For those of you who dont know, water and my ears don't mix...I dont go underwater and Im careful in the shower, I would rather have bugs in my mouth than water in my ear. I have really bad ears, when i go underwater, water just shoots into my ear, and I get an ear infection, its pretty much a given. My ears do not pressurize well at all, thats why I had all that trouble on the plane. Anyways, this lady didnt just shoot water into my ear, she let it fly, it felt horribly unnatural and hurt like nothing Ive ever felt before, and she just kept doing it. The water was hitting solidly up against my ear drum or whatever, right where the infection is. Eventually she got it out and said "I bet you feel better now", and I said "I bet I dont" granted I could hear out of that ear now, but it's an hour later and its still throbbing from that. So the doctor came back in, looked in my ear and said that yes indeed I do have an infection. I told him Amoxicillin doesnt do anything for me cause Ive had it so many times before, so he prescribes me some other thing, which just turns out to be another name for Amoxicillin, the bastard. Which means that my ear infection is going to go away slowly and mainly via the power of my immune system, not medication. Well I just took my first pill (things are flippin' huge) before I blogged, and now Im gonna take a nap because I dont wanna feel this watery pain in my ear any more.

side note: when he looked in my ear again, he said I still had a tube in that ear, which is really surprising since I last had them put in when i was in 6th grade and the other one fell out probably during Calculus class senior year when my ear just randomly started bleeding during the middle of class.

It had to be the infection causing the pain because I used to do this and it felt so good. It was cool when you'd see the large chunk of wax floating in the water.

But then again I didn't have an infection to shoot water into.
