Hi, Karla
just thought Id say hey back. Anyways....had our ultimate frisbee taoonament (not sure about the spelling on that one) and it was quite fun. Saturday we played 4 40 minute games right in a row, wow was that exhausting, my stomach was just gone by then. We got shut out the first game, 14-0 by Winnipeg (darn canucks) they won last years tournament and were expected to win this years too. next we played the team that was expected to contend with Winnipeg for the champ-eenship, Luther college from Iowa. We got shut out 5-0 in the first half, but tied them 4-4 in the second half so even though we lost, we felt not too bad about ourselves. After getting the best two teams in the pool of about 25 out of the way, we played a team that also got shutout by Winnipeg and beat them like 11-6 or something, and then finished out the day with another victory over yet another team who got shutout by Winnipeg. After all this we all went to Perkins and most of us ate the tremendous twelve in a stupendous six (minutes that is), then picked up some alcohol and hit the hot tub. Sunday we had our first game of the single elimination tournament against St. Johns A (as opposed to St. Johns B and C) and they were damn good too. Fortunately i started the game out with a killer grab and then a hammer throw to our leading scorer, Dustin (NOT Johnson, somebody already asked me that, i think it was josh). So we had the lead, we also had the lead at 2-1, but never had it again....we showed up about 5 minutes before we had to play so we didnt get to stretch or warm up and that really sucked, Im still hella sore. we lost 10-5 i believe. In the 5 games i totalled 1 score and 8 assists, so i lead our team in assists, so i guess I did alright, i also played some pretty good D, i didnt get scored on for 3 games straight at one point and only twice overall. Overall it was really cool, i dont even care that when i got out of the car after getting back to moorhead i could hardly move. In april we are going to the tournament at Luther, an 8 hour drive :O.
In other news, there isnt much other news to report. There is small, but measurable advancement on the gf front, so im slightly happy about that. Also as a payment for taking the weekend in now work 6 straight days starting tomorrow, ouch. Oh yeah, i just found out i can save $45 a month on car insurance by switching to Geico, but it wont get me out of going to classes (i can seriously save that much though, but i need to get renter's insurance somewhere if i switch to them)
any new news on the trip guys? cause im thinking we shouldnt wait quite as long to figure things out as we did last time, cause look how that turned out, lol.
Wo'TP: I got nothin right now, maybe Ill edit and repost later, feel free to suggest anything if you want and i can pretend to be a reader and answer myself, however i then will have executive power when it comes to giving out the actual definition.

I know my brother plays frolf (frisbee golf), but I'll be honest... I have no idea about Ultimate Frisbee, and I'm too lazy to look it up.
Sum up the game in two sentances, without using the word points or goals.
Like football except no tackling or running with the frisbee, and an incomplete pass is a turnover. Also no downs, or line of scrimmage, just running around catching and throwing the frisbee to get it in the end zone.
sounds kinda fun, almost sport-like... do you wear pads or a helmet (considering there's no tackling, but maybe the frisbee could crack a head open)
no, Tony, no pads....and yes, frisbee's can hurt, they can leave you with a black eye or bruised ribs or even broken bones if the frisbee somehow gets stuck underneath you when you fall. Only the last one of those has ever happened to me, but i didnt break anything, just hurt my wrist...but all the other's ive seen done. Tis a brutal sport, but someone's got to play it. oh yeah, Karla...newmanic is accepted as Wo'TP, go ahead and try it out people!
